History
A graduate of Sonoma County’s local law school, Empire College School of Law, Lamar Peckham was admitted to the California State Bar in 1985 and began practicing law as the Law Office of Lamar Peckham. For many years he practiced criminal defense as his primary area of law and was a frequent sight at the Sonoma County courthouse.
As the years went on, Lamar’s passion for immigration law led it to become his primary area of practice. Since then, he’s represented clients from all over Northern California in immigration court.
In 2003, a fire in the old, pink Victorian that housed the original law office led to relocating his office in his dream location: Roseland. The area is known as a cultural hub for Sonoma County’s thriving immigrant population, which is predominantly made up of Mexican immigrants providing vital skills and services in the local wine and agricultural industry.
Now having been located in Roseland for over twenty years, the office is committed to serving the local community.
With his passing, Mr. Peckham’s daughter has taken on her father’s office to continue his mission of serving the community.
